Venge Chardonnay Maldonado Vineyard, Napa ‘11

The nose is pieced together by threads of fresh lemons, white flowers, hints of pineapple and a touch of french oak. Flavors fall equally in line with more fresh citrus and crisp acidity.

Pazo Barrantes Albarino Rias Biaxas Spain ‘11

Has a well-balanced palate; the acidity is crisp without being sharp. Fruits are soft and ripe with a dominant apricot character. The wine has excellent mouthfeel as well as noteworthy purity.

Laurenz V and Sophie Singing Gruner Veltliner, Austria ‘11

A very attractive fruit bouquet yields apple, peach and citrus aromas along with a typical Veltliner spiciness and a touch of white pepper. The soft and juicy palate is supported by the fine acidity. It sings on the palate!

Ancien Pinot Gris Sangiacomo Vineyard, Carneros ‘12

On the palate, the bold fruit notes of mandarine, star fruit, green apple and pear are zested with key lime notes, stony earth, cardamom and allspice. The mouthfeel is tremendous -at once bright and steely along with lingering and mineral, a magical combination.

Kuleto Frog Prince Red, Napa ‘09

This is blend of 67% Cab, 14% Malbec, 8% Cab Franc, 6% Syrah and 5% Petite verdot. The nose starts off with red fruits and herbs, but gradually evolves into chocolate and earth with more prominent red and black fruits.

Ornellaia Le Volte, Tuscany Italy ‘11

50% Merlot, 30% Sangiovese and 20% Cabernet. The palate offers a broad vien of finely-woven, glossy tannins, creating a velvety mouthdfeel. Impressions of fruit and spice lace the progression, which proceeds leisurely to an energy-laden finish enlivened by tangy acidity.

Hahn Pinot Noir, Santa Lucia Highlands ‘11

A sip reveals a full bodied Pinot Noir imbued with flavors of ripe red plums and flecks of allspice. On the palate a slight acidity balances this wine’s supple tannins and supports its ling finish.
