Surprisingly rich and complex, the palate is followed by hints of lime zest, juniper berry, sappy minerality and very nice herbal acidity. Paired with food, a creamy lemon custard nuance emerges

Sauvion MuScadet, Loire Valley ‘17

The wine features delicate aromas of citrus bolstered by flint and salinity. Light bodied but with a hint of creaminess from lees contact, this wine has lively acidity and a complex finish.

Blackbilly Pinot Gris, Adelaide Hills ’17

Lifted aromatics reminiscent of nashi pear and citrus flowers and a hint of lemon. Clean, crisp with full fruit and bright acidity.

Starmont Chardonnay, Carneros ’16

Aromas of bright citrus, apple and vanilla with medium body and acidity. Flavors of apple and pear, along with citrus, fresh mineral and subtle oak notes lead to a refreshing finish.

Clos Lachance “Colibri” Rosé, California ‘17

This Grenache based rosé has aromas of fresh strawberries, lime and citrus fruits. A hint of cream and lime rind. Fruit flavors jump out of the glass. Strawberries and raspberries are most prominent.

 

Reds

Clos Troteligotte “K-Nom” Malbec, Cahors ‘17

This fruit-forward Malbec is showing delightful tastes of blueberry and raspberry. The smooth tannins allow a very silky finish for a wine incredibly approachable.

Tenuta Maccan Cabernet Franc, Friuli Grave ’15

Sarah’s Vineyard Pinot Noir, Santa Clara ’16

With its ripe cherry and berry components and amazing nose and palate full of spice box and vanillin-oak, this wine begs to be paired with ripe cheeses, pancetta-wrapped salmon, duck confit, or almost any variety of meats off the grill.

Steele Cabernet Sauvignon, Red Hills ‘16

Full body and a lot of flavor richness make this wine a winner. It nicely combines ripe black-cherry and blackberry notes with a subtle oak spiciness like vanilla and cinnamon on a creamy texture backed by moderate tannins.
